Refund and Cancellation Policies

Internshipafrica will not be responsible for any acts or failure to provide services by independent contractors providing transportation, accomodations and all other services. By utilizing the services of the independent contractors, an intern agrees that neither Internshipafrica nor it's representative(s) will be liable for any act of nature, strikes, war, weather, quarantines, sickness, terrorist activity, government restrictions or regulations. Internshipafrica's advice is to purchase travel insurance to protect against such risks.

Payment of Trip

Payment made by check is not considered cleared until funds have been received by issuing bank. Payment by credit card will incure a processing fee of 3% of the amount paid. Direct deposits and bank transfers can be arranged. Final payments are due 30 days prior to depature.

Refunds

All airfares are non-refundable. Cancellations received 60 days prior to depature date will be refunded in full less initial nonrefundable fee and 10% handling fee. 14 Days prior to depature in full less intial non-refundable fee and 50% handling fee. No shows forfeits full trip price. All refunds will be paid by bank check.

Changes to Reservations

Once payment has been made in full, all change requests must be received in writing. Internshipafrica is subject to the rules and fees of the third party contractors and any change requests are not guaranteed. Where change is possible, all fees invoved will be paid by the intern.

Cancellation

All cancellation must be received in writing. Verbal cancellation over the phone with a staff will not be considered valid.
